National Museum of the Marine Corps received the works

The National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA has physically received the works being given from the Harry Jackson Institute. Joan Thomas is the current Art Curator at the museum and had the fortune to start in 2006 before Harry passed away. They spoke several times about his WWII works and she is looking forward to presenting the collection to the collections committee in November. She said these works will add to their “ability to tell a more complete story of World War II.”

Over 300 works are included in the gift. Below is a selection of the works in the gift.
